Metalized Coatings LLC is a Laporte, Indiana based, Veteran Owned company fulfilling the unique niche of Vacuum Metallizing PVD application.

Metalized Coatings currently has two paint lines, one centered around metalizing, and one developed for UV topcoating. If your business model requires metalizing, please reach out and we can scale our process accordingly to accommodate job specifications.

Our state of the art chain on edge paint line elegantly interfaces FANUC robotics with conveyor, IR oven, and UV oven systems to produce unparalleled finish quality. The paint-metal-paint process we utilize allows for flexibility in finish color as well. Current possibilities range from bright chrome to black chrome, with copper and fuchsia options as well.

Our Process
The beginning of any project begins with discussion between our team and the customer. Our quoting team approaches every project from a unique perspective placing emphasis on customer expectations and requirements first.
Once the groundwork is laid down, we can begin fixturing and customizing the paint recipe for the desired pigment, coating thickness, and finish properties of the customer.

From that point, test parts are ran, recipes are perfected, and quality metrics are verified before full-scale production begins.

Metalized Coatings LLC has a continually evolving and improving quality management system in place to ensure that expected requirements are met or exceeded in all facets.

We have recently gained our ISO 9001:2015 certification through a bsi certification process and our Quality Management System begins with a strong communication avenue for each partner.

Where applicable, Metalized Coatings has conformed with Automotive Manufacturing Industry standards and gone through the PPAP process to provide validity in both our suppliers and process methods.

When it comes to performance metrics, Metalized Coatings has all applicable tools required. To ensure the proper bonding of our paint application, the crosshatch adhesion test is periodically performed confirming quality before shipment. Next, to guarantee the proper performance of our curing ovens, we utilize Datapaq sensor technology and EIT UV sensors to monitor heat absorption and UV irradiance respectively.
